The Steel Bonnets Return - With a Howl on the Wind

On 19th September 2026, the legendary Teviotdale Steel Bonnets ride again into our valley - fiercer, louder, and more thrilling than ever before.

This September, the group are not coming alone. Two noble Bloodhounds, the very breed once known on the Borders as Sleuthhounds – trackers of both cattle thieves and men – will be joining the team, bringing history to life in a way rarely witnessed.

These magnificent hounds, famed since the 1300s for their unmatched skill in tracking humans across the Scottish–English Borderlands, will take centre stage during two special Manhunt demonstrations held across the day.

Booking essential – places are limited!

Manhunt Experience – Live Tracking Demonstrations

  • Interactive Manhunt experience at 11am & 2pm
  • Border history, folklore, and family entertainment
